Welcome to my travel and life page

Hi. Welcome to my page. My name is Maša (pronounced Masha) and I come from the green, lovely and small Slovenia. One of my favourite things to do in life is to travel and (apart from COVID-19 years), I travelled somewhere each year since I was 9 years old.

To live is to travel

I love the places I visit, but more than anything, I love how places make me feel. The scents, the colors, the sounds ... the food. The food! Not to mention cozy places that appear along the way. I have not travelled all around the world, but I lived in a few places so far. I spent one year living in Germany, five months in China and I also lived one year in Scotland, UK. Maybe I will live somewhere else still in the future, but for now, I am staying put in my small and cozy Slovenia.

But let's think about the deep stuff too

Although one part of this blog is about trips and travels, it is also about deep ideas and thinking about the world. Being a philosopher by heart (and Master's degree), I think about life and the "deep stuff" quite a lot. So don't be surprised if you read about science and religion, what it means to be authentic, what exactly is the mind, ethics and purpose, and in what ways can we embody our beautiful bodies. Phenomenology of the body is certainly a fascination of mine.

All things cozy

Last but not least, to round this up, this blog is place to write about all things relaxing...and cozy. The small and the not so small stuff that make us feel all is well with the world. The cozy that brings safety, comfort and peace. Now and then, with some bits of science.
